when making a wish, be very specific

FMC is 6 years old, and all she wants to do is read. Unfortunately, that's the one thing she can't do. Her eyesight may be the worst the world has seen. Her glasses will somewhat help her see far away, but nothing has been found to help her read. Her older sister reads out loud to her as often as she can.

So when she accidentally releases a genie, she wishes that she had the best sight ever. As all genies do, he doesn't do exactly what she had in mind. Now she has x-ray and infrared vision, can see even the smallest details, even in the dark (think fine print on the other side of a room), and sees colors that no one knew existed. Without a second thought, she tells her kindergarden class about what happened the following morning.
